If my mind is working this morning, 400 miles.
I'm going to guess 3465 miles.
The two rockets are traveling toward each other at the rate of 24,000 miles per hour. This is 400 miles per minute. This is all that is needed to answer. The distance they began at is irrelevant, and this assumes the rockets are traveling at a constant rate of speed. So I agree with the first commenter's answer: 400 miles apart at one minute before they collide. That was enjoyable.
